A-Roid or A-Star?
The press has been all over this A-Rod steriod use story lately; and rightfully so. It is big news, not only for sports enthusiasts but for the general public too; everyone is giving their opinions on it. Some people believe that Alex Rodriguez is the best baseball player who ever lived; he has the paycheck to prove it too, being the highest paid plater in baseball history.
A-Rod recently was outted for steriod use in 2001-2003, before the ban on the drug was put in place by Major League Baseball. Authorities in the baseball world are determining if he should suffer consequences for his actions before the rule was mandated. Fans have mixed issues on the subject. Some are disappointed, others aren’t jilted by this accusation.

A-Rod is not only being held accountable for his steriod use, but for his denaial of steriod use. He first denied that he ever took the drug, then denied knowing what drugs he was taking, only that they were bad. Apparently A-Rod doesn’t pay attention what pills he pops now a days. He now
says that the stress of being the highest paid plater is what drove him to steriod use. Get the story straight A-Rod.
Hard-core fans say that his use of the performance enhancing drug had no effect on his talent on the field and on the plate over the years; they say his outstanding statistics are all thanks to good conditioning and training. Many fans of platers like A-Rod and Barry Bonds hold true to the belief that they player is what makes the plays, not the drug. But where would these men be without steriods? Would they still have these unbeatable stats? I think not. Is A-Rod a fraud or a true star? You decide.
